The 11th European Radio Interferometry School (ERIS2026)
Noto, Sicily (Italy)
7th-11th September 2026
The 11th European Radio Interferometry School (ERIS2026) will be hosted by the Institute of Radio Astronomy (IRA–INAF) in Noto, Sicily (Italy), from 7 to 11 September 2026.
ERIS 2026, sponsored by the Astrophysics Centre for Multi-messenger Studies in Europe (ACME) and the Italian National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF), will offer a full week of lectures and practical, hands-on sessions designed to provide a comprehensive overview of radio interferometry. The program will cover fundamental concepts as well as advanced data processing and analysis techniques. Topics will include: (1) calibration and imaging of interferometric data, including continuum, spectral line, and polarization observations; (2) observational techniques using a variety of radio telescope arrays; and (3) strategies for observation planning and proposal preparation.
The school is designed for students and early-career radio astronomers, as well as scientists and engineers from other fields looking to expand their knowledge and skills.
More information about the school program, the registration dates and fee, and the logistics will be available soon, stay tuned!
ACME project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101131928.
